The chamber orchestra Kremerata Baltica, established by the world famous violinist Gidon Kremer, and one of the leading Danish sopranos of the moment, Henriette Bonde-Hansen offer a distinguished program of classic Viennese music.
In the concert we will hear Joseph Haydn "Scena di Berenice", Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart "Exsultate, jubilate" as well as classic Viennese pieces for orchestra.
Kremerata Baltica is one of the leading international chamber orchestras in the world, and have gained an outstanding reputation, performing in the best concert halls in over 50 countries. In addition, Kremerata have produced over two dozen albums, including the 2002 ECHO Klassik and Grammy Award winning ‘After Mozart’ on Nonesuch Records as well as other critically acclaimed titles on the Deutsche Grammophon and ECM labels. The ensemble’s albums of works by Georges Enescu and Mieczysław Weinberg were both nominated for a Grammy Award.
Henriette Bonde-Hansen has gained international recognition as a highly gifted lyric soprano. She has had a long succession of roles on opera stages in Denmark and abroad, and is much in demand in leading concert halls.
