RockFilmFestival is a genre filmfestival dedicated to all kinds of rock expressions on the big screen without any format restrictions - portrait films, biographies, concertfilms, tour films, road movies, films including rock music and ideology, filmsmade by rock musicians and films played in by rock musicians.
Set in the beautiful city of Cesis the festival brings together the local community and businesses to take in a large number of visitors to deliver a pure, colorful and unforgettable joy for a few days by the end of summer 14th - 16th August. Alongside screenings of the best ever rockfilms made attendees are invited to enjoy the day and nightlife of Cesis - rockconcerts, discussions, interactive video screenings and drive-in film theater.
Festival's mission is to celebrate and maintain the power that rock ideology brings to the community - for which rock has been a significant worth ever since fighting for the invaluable independence from Soviet regime.
