Glazunov’s gnomes have built a fire, melted the snow and chased away the winter. Tchaikovsky admires skylarks and snowdrops. Vivaldi turns into a goatherd and is having a peaceful nap under a blooming tree, in the shadow of dancing nymphs. Respighi’s birds are filling the air with exultant trilling and warbling. LeNeSOn, where is your wheelbarrow? Where is your shovel?
