A Latvian Puppet Theatre performance for children aged 6+
Based on Oscar Wilde’s ironically Gothic story ‘The Canterville Ghost’, this puppet theatre production speaking of the importance of mutual understanding and love will give plenty of food for thought for the young spectators and their parents alike. An old English castle is home to the ghost of Sir Simon de Canterville. It enjoys wandering around in the dark castle passages at night, scaring the housekeeper, moaning in the chimney and having a go at its most terrifying roles. Everything changes when the castle is bought by a friendly American family who don’t believe in ghosts and have no intention of adopting some of the most ancient English traditions.
