Steeped in special ambience and atmospheric, the music presented by the Danish guitar player Christian Frank and Latvian saxophone playerDenis Pashkevich is an interplay of modern jazz with improvisation passages, blues elements and beautiful ballads.

The leaders of the Frank/Pashkevich Quartet, Christian Frank and Denis Pashkevich, met in 2010; ever since then, the musical collaboration has been carried on, much to the delight of jazz aficionados in Latvia and Denmark alike. 2011 saw the musicians record their debut album ‘Outlook’, followed by ‘Close’, which was recorded as a duet. The latest joint project of the leaders of the band, ‘Yours Faithfully’, was released in 2026 and won the 2016 Latvian Golden Microphone Music Record Award in the Best Jazz Record category.
