Sinfonietta Rīga State Chamber Orchestra

The programme features twenty chansons chosen by the French singer Mouron, presented in a contemporary artistic light. We are going to hear songs by famous French performers like Édith Piaf, Charles Aznavour, Serge Gainsbourg and Barbara.
Growing up during the Golden Age of the French chanson, Mouron fell in love with this musical genre and penned her own first songs at the age of 12. She launched her solo career in the 1980s. The singer has toured France, Germany and, particularly frequently, Asian countries with a number of programmes created with the German cabaret star Terry Truck.
