LNSO Summer Festival
LNSO Summer Festival Vasarnīca is the annual festival of the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra (LNSO) offering a wide programme of classical and popular music for children, young adults and adults. The festival resides in the Concert Hall Cēsis, a venue with a warm atmosphere and great acoustics. LNSO invites families, friends, permanent listeners and newcomers to a musical rendez-vous. Everyone is welcome – both experienced concert lovers and those with the courage to explore new territories in arts. Every year during the festival three symphonic concerts, shows for children and youths, chamber music performances and a photography exhibition take place. A playroom is provided for children during the evening concerts. This year for the first time in the LNSO Summer Festival a mobile observatory will arrive and allow everyone to reach out for the stars.
